Do you need a large dataset to build an AI system?
Not always. RAG systems require no training data at all — they work by retrieving relevant content at query time. Fine-tuning requires more data, but high-quality small datasets (1,000–10,000 examples) often outperform large noisy datasets. We assess your data situation in the discovery phase and recommend the right approach.
Will the AI work with Nigerian English, Pidgin or Yoruba?
Yes. General LLMs like GPT-4 handle Nigerian English very well. For Pidgin or Yoruba content, we either fine-tune on relevant datasets or use translation pipelines. Our document intelligence systems are specifically trained on Nigerian document formats including CBN forms, court filings and WAEC scripts.
How do you ensure the AI does not give wrong answers?
We implement multiple guardrails — RAG grounding (the AI only answers from verified source documents), confidence thresholds, human escalation paths, and output validation. For high-stakes applications like medical or legal, we design for AI-assisted rather than AI-decided workflows.
Who owns the AI model and training data after the project?
You do. All models, training data, configurations and code are delivered to you at project close. We do not retain rights to models trained on your data. For cloud-hosted models, the data handling terms are governed by the provider's enterprise agreements, which we help you configure.
